Today I'm proud to announce that Place of Wonder is welcoming another fan fiction writer to the site, Evelyn Weibel. Evelyn has written various pieces of Adventures in Odyssey fan fiction in the past and you can find links to those stories in her bio. Her latest work posted on Place of Wonder is entitled First Great Adventure of the Summer. In this story Jason reminisces with his father about one day when he was 14 and stowed away in his father's car on a trip to Chicago, and got more than he bargained for. You can go ahead and read the whole fan fiction story right here.
Today we at the AIO Update are proud to post yet another piece of Adventures in Odyssey fan fiction. This latest story is called Conversation & Colloquialisms by David Hilder. In this story Connie Kendall and Eugene Meltsner have a nice little conversation during a slow and rainy day at Whit's End. You can read Conversation & Colloquialisms here.
It's time to release our second piece of Adventures in Odyssey fan fiction from the AIO Update. It is called A Terrible Tale of Tragedy by David Hilder. In this story Camilla Parker recounts to Connie all the crazy things that have been happening to the Parker family lately. It's a bit of a long story, about 19 pages, so be prepared for that before you start. But hopefully you'll really enjoy it. You can read A Terrible Tale of Tragedy here.
Place of Wonder was created by the AIO Update to collect original fan fiction about Odyssey and today we're proud to start releasing them. Our first piece of Adventures in Odyssey fan fiction is called The Estate Sale by David Hilder. Inspired by Passages, this one-part story elaborates on the background of the estate sale at Maude McCutcheon's home where Jack Allen discovers the first manuscript about Marus. It is recommended that readers be familiar with the entire Passages series beforehand. Unfortunately, the two latest Passages omni-books released in 2013 will not be sufficient. To the best of my knowledge, these new omni-books no longer contain the prologues and epilogues from the original Passages series. You will need to get your hands on older editions of the individual six books in order to have the background knowledge necessary to understand this particular piece of fan fiction. You can read The Estate Sale here.
